I am very pleased that my portrait of Louise Nevelson was used on the invitation to the Naples Museum of Art dinner and art auction.

Silk Road Culture Exhibition
Organized with the cooperation of Urgup Municipality, Basdere Municipality, Buyuk Sinasos Mansion, Cappadocia Art and History Museum and Sultan Sofrasi, a cultural exhibition entitled “Silk Road Culture” will take place on Dagistanli Street, located at Urgup town center.
The exhibition, which will take place between October 27th and November 3rd of 2011, display photographs by American researcher and photograph artist Lynn Gilbert. Besides Gilbert’s photographs, a village bazaar exhibiting the local products of various villages in Urgup, crops of the Directorate of Agriculture of Urgup and photographs by amateur photographers from Urgup will also be on display. Shopkeepers of Dagistanli Street will also support the exhibition by displaying their own products in front of their shops.

Silk Road photography and culture exhibition opened in the town of Urgup, Nevsehir. October 23, 2011 – November 3, 2011.
The exhibition, co-organized by Urgup Municipality, Basdere Municipality, Buyuk Sinasos Mansion, Cappadocia Art and History Museum and Sultan Sofrasi, opened on Dagistanli Street located at the town center.
The exhibition consists of photographs by American researcher and photograph artist Lynn Gilbert and various crafts. Various agricultural products produced in Urgup’s villages also were displayed at the exhibition. Shopkeepers of Dagistanli Street supported the exhibition by displaying their own products.
District Governor of Urgup, Tuğba Yılmaz, and Mayor of Urgup Fahri Yıldız attended the opening. The exhibition will be open for visitors until November 3rd.
